The Crown Cattle Company is a family-run stud, grazing Wagyu on the open plains of central Queensland.
Malcolm & Glenne Robertson purchased Orielton from the Thorpe family in 1979. Management of the property later passed to their son Peter and wife Netta, who are both committed to leading Landcare and Breeding strategies.
Peter established Crown Cattle Company in 2001 and focused on producing great Wagyu cattle. Orielton became Organically Certified in 1997, the first and largest organic (Wagyu beef?) producer in Australia.
CCCo. now consists of four properties; Orielton, Branga, Rossievale and a recent addition, Burslem.
